- Clarify the purpose and outcomes. Spend time communicating the purpose and intended outcomes at the beginning of each session.
- Be mindful that we serve a diverse group of students. Have you considered how to approach your topic differently from the lens of English Learners, Special Education students, and the Gifted and Talented?

- Think about assessment and evaluation on the front end of each initiative. Plan to populate Data Director with any and all student achievement information that will help us to make progress.

Professional Development Checklist
These are some simple and helpful reminders and resources to assist in planning for each and every session. While these meetings will certainly be helpful in improving the operational efficiencies of the district, they are also opportunities for professional development.
